| "The Redwood" Imagine cutting into a piece of 1000 year old redwood, the scent trapped inside, escaping for the first time, filling the shaping room and surrounding you in its embrace. That is how I feel when I have the honor of building one of these redwood surfboards. These hand picked pieces of wood are from old growth stumps, having been cut down 75 years ago, and have a unique combination of grains from lace to curley to birds eye. Available shapes are accurate to the smallest detail starting @ $6500. |
